End-of-life care is something that many find difficult to discuss, however, at Woodlands we welcome those discussions. Why? Because we want to ensure that a lady’s day feels fulfilled, from the time she rises in the morning until she rests at night. At Woodlands, end-of-life care does not mean that a lady’s wants and wishes are ignored. We take pride in knowing our ladies by heart, which means that we do what we can to provide tailored, specialist support that never compromises a lady’s respect, happiness or dignity. Despite the name, end-of-life care need not be the end and we believe that all our ladies deserve to lead meaningful, memorable and fulfilling lives.
End-of-Life Care
Personalised, Specialist Support When You Need It The Most
What is End-of-Life Care?
Here at Woodlands, we provide tailored end-of-life care to ladies during the later stages of their lives, whether that be their final years or their last days. At Woodlands, we appreciate that discussing or even thinking about the end of a loved one’s life can be extremely difficult and may be a conversation that you’ve been avoiding. However, we don’t shy away from these conversations, we welcome them. We provide our ladies with a My Care Choices booklet which they can fill out with all of their requests and wishes. We aim to cater every aspect of care to our ladies’ individual wants, wishes and desires, including how they would like to spend their final years or moments.
