Woodlands is located in the heart of Lexden, a desirable residential area in Colchester, close to the shops and amenities of the town centre.
This beautiful period house, equipped with modern comforts, has delightful mature gardens, including woodland areas carpeted with bluebells in spring and bursting with colour throughout the year. What better way to spend a summer’s afternoon than by a gentle stroll followed by tea in the conservatory!
Inside Woodlands boasts a large resident’s lounge and two sunny conservatories, one of which is used as a reading room for those more tranquil times. We have a good selection of books and newspapers are delivered daily.
To facilitate mobility and independence, the Home is equipped with a professional nurse call system and a 6-person passenger lift. To keep in touch with your friends and family you can have a private telephone in your room.
Woodlands can accommodate 23 residents. The majority of the bedrooms are single with en-suite facilities although some bedrooms are available for shared occupancy. There are numerous additional bathrooms with hydraulic baths. Domestic cleaning is provided by our housemaids and all general laundry is taken care of within the Home.
As your requirements evolve, we constantly review our facilities and accommodation so that we can provide the right facilities for your needs. Improvements and alterations are always made with your comfort and
